Garmin Approach S44 Golf Watch Included
The Garmin Approach R50 Launch Monitor & Simulator comes with the Garmin Approach S44 GPS Golf Watch included. Practice and play at home on the R50, then take your game to the course with the S44 on your wrist. Both work with the Garmin Golf app, so your data lives in one place.
What's in the Bundle
- Garmin Approach R50 Launch Monitor & Simulator
- Garmin Approach S44 GPS Golf Watch, Silver Bezel / Black Band (included)
Garmin Approach R50: Bring the Golf Course Home
The Garmin Approach R50 is an all-in-one launch monitor and golf simulator with a built-in 10-inch touchscreen. No computer or phone is needed. Three high-speed cameras capture ball and club data plus impact video on every shot, and the unit sits beside the ball, so you don't need extra room behind you.
Play More Than 43,000 Golf Courses
With Home Tee Hero, play virtual rounds on more than 43,000 courses with up to four players. Home Tee Hero, On Course Practice and weekly tournaments need a Garmin Golf membership, sold separately by Garmin. Ball and club data, the driving range, training mode, impact video and shot history all work out of the box.
Space and Setup
Set the R50 about 1.5 ft (0.5 m) to the side of the ball, at the same level as your hitting mat. Plan for about 10 ft of width, a 9 ft ceiling (10 ft if you're tall), and roughly 10 ft from ball to screen. Left-handed golfers just move the unit to the other side of the ball.
Projector, TV and Simulator Software
Run an HDMI cable (not included) to a projector or TV for full-screen play at up to 1080p. The R50 also connects over Wi-Fi to GSPro, E6 Connect, E6 Apex and Awesome Golf (sold separately). PC software needs a gaming-capable Windows computer. Need one? See our golf simulator computers.
Indoors and Outdoors
The R50 works in both. Keep direct sun off the unit and the club face, and avoid shiny surfaces in the camera's view. It handles light spray (IPX3), not rain. The battery lasts up to 4 hours, and you can keep playing with the AC adapter plugged in.
Included: Garmin Approach S44 GPS Golf Watch
The Approach S44 is a slim, lightweight GPS golf smartwatch with a bright 1.2" AMOLED touchscreen and more than 43,000 preloaded courses. It shows front, middle and back green yardages, hazard and layup distances, Green View and PinPointer, and keeps score on your wrist. It syncs with the Garmin Golf app and lasts up to 15 hours in GPS mode or up to 10 days as a smartwatch.
