Know the Number. Trust the Shot.
The Garmin Approach Z30 is built for golfers who want laser-sharp yardages and a little more reach than an entry-level rangefinder. It locks onto the flag from as far as 400 yards, reads within ±1 yard, and is fully waterproof (IPX7), so a wet morning round won't slow you down.
Pair it with a Garmin golf watch or the Garmin Golf app and it does even more: your laser reading is sent straight to your wrist or phone, so you see the full picture of the hole, not just a single number.
Lock On, Feel It, Swing
Look through the 6X magnification viewfinder, aim at the flag and press. A short vibration tells you the pin is locked, so there's no second-guessing whether you hit the trees behind it. The bright transparent OLED display keeps the numbers easy to read in any light.
Pin range reaches up to 400 yards, and reflective targets can be measured from 7 to 1,300 yards.
Range Relay: Your Laser and Your Watch, Working Together
With Range Relay, every distance you shoot is sent to a compatible Garmin watch or the Garmin Golf app. Your device then shows a Laser Range Arc, a line across the hole map at your measured distance, so you can see which bunkers and hazards are in play, along with yardages to the front and back of the green.
Once a distance is shared, it stays live as you walk, updating automatically so you don't have to re-shoot the flag before every swing.
PlaysLike Distance
Uphill shots play longer and downhill shots play shorter. PlaysLike Distance adjusts your yardage for elevation, and when the Z30 is paired with a compatible Garmin device it also accounts for air density, giving you a truer number to choose your club.
Tournament Ready
Playing in an event? Switch on Tournament Mode to turn off slope-adjusted yardages. An external indicator light shows your playing partners and officials that you're within the rules.
